Q: Will Infinity Pick me up?

A: Yes, our free pick up service is available at the Hartsfield Atlanta airport location during airport hours.  To schedule your pick up time or make additional arrangements, please call the office directly. Once picked up and back at the office a rental representative will complete your paper work and have you on the road.

Please note: 

  • Vehicles are not delivered to the airport
  • Our office is a short ride away

Q: What if my flight is delayed

A: If you experience a flight delay, Infinity will honor the rental for the entire business day. There is no need to update the reservation unless the flight is going to be delayed until the next morning.  When booking your reservation online or with an agent, include your airline and flight information if applicable. (Will you be able to add these fields for this information to the website?) Providing us with your flight information allows us to serve you better by allowing ICR to check with the airline to see if your flight has been delayed if its past the reservation time.

Please Note: If you are going to arrive after closing, the pickup date and time will be changed to the next day.

Rental Requirements

Q: What do you need to rent a car?

A: In order to rent from Infinity Car Rental, all drivers must meet the following Rental requirements:

  • Meet the minimum age requirements (can we make this a link to drop down to the requirements?)
  • Have a valid driver’s license (can we make this drop down to the requirements?)
  • Customers who reside in the United States, U.S. must present a valid, unexpired government-issued driver’s license which includes a photograph of the customer. Digital licenses are not accepted. The driver’s license must be valid for the entire rental period.

Please Note:

  • Photocopies of driver’s licenses are not accepted
  • Learner’s Permits are not accepted
  • Any license which, on its face, restricts the licensee to the use and operation of a vehicle equipped with a form of a Breathalyzer apparatus is not accepted
  • Temporary driver’s licenses may be refused if the renting location is unable to otherwise verify the customer’s identity or verify the authenticity of the temporary license. Additional government-issued identification may be required
  • Infinity does not offer a leisure government rate
  • When presenting with an International Drivers License customers may be asked to provide additional valid government-issued documentation.

Members of the United States Armed Forces who are on active duty may present an expired home state license under the following conditions:

  • They also present an Active Military ID, and they are in compliance with their military extension policy of the state which issued the license. These policies vary by state and customers are encouraged to check with the appropriate department of motor vehicles for more information.
  • Be able to provide an acceptable form of payment
  • Infinity is a participating vendor for the U.S. Government Car Rental Agreement. Federal government renters traveling on official government business receive rates and mileage packages that extend all the benefits of this agreement.

Please Note: Infinity does not offer a Government Leisure Rate.

Q: Can I add an additional driver to my rental car?

A: Yes, additional drivers are allowed, if the following criteria is met

  • All additional drivers Must:
    • Appear at the rental office with primary renter
    • Present valid drivers license

Q: How much is the fee for an additional driver?

A: An additional driver typically averages $12.00 a day per additional driver and applies to any additional drivers Except the following:

  • There is no additional driver fee for a spouse or domestic partner (either same or opposite sex), or for one surrogate driver for a mobility impaired renter who meets the rental requirements.

Payment

Q: What forms of payment are accepted for renting a car?

A: Credit card, Debit card, Cash or Money Order are accepted as forms of payment.  We currently accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa credit cards.

Credit Card

  • At the time of rental, a credit card must be presented with available credit of the anticipated cost of rental, in the renter’s name.
  • The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card and the signature on the rental agreement.
  • If the renter reserved online, the name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name booked for the online transaction and identification presented.

Debit /Check Card

  • Debit/Check cards are accepted at the time of rental, a debit card must be presented with available credit of anticipated cost of rental, in the renter’s name.
  • The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card and the signature on the rental agreement.
  • If the renter reserved online, the name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name booked for the online transaction and identification presented.

FORMS OF PAYMENT NOT ACCEPTED:

Virtual Credit Cards

  • Infinity does not accept online-only, virtual credit cards or any other type of “single-use” card number security product or one-time use credit card number that may be provided by credit card companies for online use.
  • Infinity shall not assume responsibility or liability in connection with the use of on-line only, virtual credit cards or any other type of “single-use” card number security product or one-time use credit card number that may be provided by credit card companies for online transactions.
  • Infinity shall have no obligation to honor transactions made with such cards

Q: Is a deposit required when renting a vehicle?

A: No, A deposit is not required.  The full rental cost will be authorized on your card.  Once the car is returned the authorization will turn into a charge.

Q: Can I pay for the rental of a car for another individual?

A: No, The renter of the vehicle must be present to sign the rental agreement and provide their credit/Debit card at the time of pick up. The renter cannot provide a credit or debit card belonging to someone else for their use.

Q: Does Infinity have a Refund policy?

A: Yes, please review the Refund Policy.

If you wish to pay for the rental car, but have someone else drive it, you can rent the vehicle in your name and add them as an additional driver. In order to add an additional driver, they would have to meet all of our additional driver requirements:

Age Requirements Q&A

The Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 years or age; There is no maximum age restriction in the United states.

  • Please Note: Renters 21 through 24 years of age may only rent Economy through Full-size cars

Age Exception: United States Government Employees – On Orders

  • A United States Government Employee can rent at 18 years of age, but must show the rental location his or her official orders.

Q: Does Infinity Have Government Rental Rates

A: No, there are no government rental rates

Q: If I’m a person with A disability and do not have a Drivers License, Can I rent a car from Infinity?

A: Yes, if due to a disability you do not have a valid driver’s license, you may still rent a car when accompanied by a surrogate driver who presents a valid driver’s license. Minimum age restrictions and other normal rental qualifications apply, but there is no additional charge for the surrogate driver and the surrogate driver need not produce a credit card or otherwise be required to meet our financial underwriting requirements.

Change & Cancelations

Q: How do I change or Cancel my reservation

A: If you have already picked up your vehicle and wish to keep it longer; you must contact Infinity Car Rental to extend your rental contract

A: If you have not picked up your vehicle you can view, modify, or cancel your reservation.  When visiting this page, you will need to make sure all fields are filled out. If you fail to enter in your reservation confirmation number, the reservation will not be found. If you have entered in all this information correctly and still cannot modify your reservation, please contact ICR.

Q: Will I be charged if I cancel my reservation?

A: If you prepaid for your vehicle, the following conditions will apply (applicable in US):

  • Yes, If you cancel your booking more than 1 day (24 Hours) before your specified pick-up time, you will receive a refund minus a cancellation fee of USD $50
  • Yes, If you cancel your booking less than 1 day (24 Hours) before your specified pick-up time, you will receive a refund minus a cancellation fee of USD $100

A: No, you will not be charged a cancelation fee if you cancel your reservation 7 days prior to the set reservation.

A: Yes, If you cancel your booking in less than 24 hours before your specified pick up time, you will receive a refund minus a cancellation fee of one (1) full day rental.

Travels

Q: Does Infinity offer unlimited mileage on car rental?

A: Yes, Infinity allows unlimited travel in the renting state.

Q: Can I take an Infinity Car Rental in the US one way?

A: No, Infinity Car Rental does not offer one Way travel

Q. Does Infinity Car Rental allow me to tow with or attach a hitch to the Rental Car

A: No, Infinity Car Rental does not allow a hitch or towing or any kind with the rental vehicle.

Returns

Q: Can I return my rental vehicle if the Infinity location is closed?

A: No, there is no key drop box available for after hour return.  If the car is not returned prior to end of day an extra day will be added to reservation

Q: I would like to keep my rental vehicle for a few days longer; is that possible?

A: Yes,

  • At this time, the only way to extend your rental is to call us at 888 508-4512 or 404 496-5625.
  • When extending a rental, the Infinity will need to place an additional authorization on your credit or debit card.

Q: I want to return my car early; Is there a penalty to do so?

A: No, there is not charge to customers more for returning a car early, and you will only be charged for the days you had the vehicle.

Pets

Q: what is the pet policy?

A: Pets are allowed in rental vehicles. Customers need to keep pets crated and return their rental car in clean condition and free of pet hair to avoid cleaning/detailing fees. Service animals used by customers with disabilities are allowed in the vehicle without a carrier.

Car Safety

Q: Does Infinity provide car seats and booster seats for children?

A:  Yes, we offer a variety of car seats and booster seats

Q: Does Infinity adhere to safety Recalls for their fleet?

A: Yes, Infinity has a safety recall policy and process

Policy: The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Act requires auto manufacturers to send a notice of any safety recall to vehicle owners. When we receive such a safety recall notice and the corresponding Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs), it is Infinity Car Rental’s Policy to not rent such vehicles until the manufacturer’s specified remedy or authorized interim repair has been implemented.

Process: After receiving the safety recall notice, Infinity Car Rental identifies affected vehicles by VIN and then places a “mandatory hold” on them in our rental management system. This “hold” directs the recall work be completed before renting the vehicle. Sometimes manufacturers advise that certain recalled vehicles can be safely operated once an authorized interim repair has been completed. In such cases, Infinity Car Rental may rent vehicles after the interim repair has been completed – but only until the final remedy is available.
